quantitation of bands - western (Apr/03/2006 )

Hi,
i need to quantify the band that i get during western.
the program i use is Quantity One from Bio-rad.
after selecting the bands the program generates next values:
volume (int*mm2); density (int/mm2) (and area of band (mm2))
which value should i use??

you have to use density.
the area have to be the same for all samples if you want to compare your bands.
