PCR - forward, reverse primers - is the reverse primer the "reverse complement" of the sense strand (Mar/27/2006 )

For PCR
Am I correct to assume that the
forward primer is an extact copy of the template sense strand,
while the reverse primer is the reverse complement of the template sense strand?
