I have to prepare competent cell of srain E.coli K12 , TB1 . can i prepare the competent cell for this strain through the same protocol which is used for DH5-Alpha. Is it will work or not.
if no then which protocol is used for this strain.

Yes, you can generally make any E. coli strain competent with the same protocol. What method do you use?

I used CaCl2 method. Wasing twice with just CaCl2 first then CaCl2 and glycerol.
I used this method for DH5-alpha so it can be used for the E.Coli K12, TB1
