Double-stranded RNA to RNA ligation - (Mar/15/2006 )

Hi,

I know ligations can be problematic at times, but I am having a difficult time getting RNA, RNA ligations to work. Has anybody out there tried doing RNA, RNA ligations (double stranded) using T4 DNA ligase? If so, would you have any suggestions on how I can manipulate the ligation so that it will work? Any help would be greatly appreciated?

NEB provides you RNA ligases... So would it be possibl that you ligate the two strands separately, and anneal them after ligation?
