What is the exact purpose of using glyoxylated RNA through a gel
and
formaldehyde gels for RNA
before doing northern blot
please explain

Formadehyde = denaturing for RNA, so it runs at its true size, it also means that after transfer there is more RNA sequence exposed, so in theory the probes should bind better.
