extract peptides from tissue/cell culture for ELISA kits - (Mar/07/2006 )

I would like use 2 ELISA kits for testing beta-Endorphin and Leu-Enkephalin, but both of them are for plasma samples orginally and my sample is brain tissue or cell culture instead. Is there any protocol for peptide extraction for my purpose?

Hi Folks,

I have the same problem.

I need also whole protein-mix from tissue also the membran-proteins. I just found denatured protocols for membran-proteins but need them nativ to make ELISA.

Thx for help.

Werek

PS: Found this company but don`t know if they mean with Total Protein also the membran-proteins: Link to Company

Oh sorry i just found denatured protocols, i don`t think you can use these protocols for Elisa, because of the Urea or SDS and so on. The Buffer in the Kit of these Company will work for most proteins it is just a question if it also work with membran-proteins.

So you can use there protocol to get your nativ proteins out of tissue and make an ELISA after that.

I found the Protocols only in the internet but didn`t bookmarked the sites.
