Hi! I´m trying to isolate RNA from 10.000-15.000 cells. How can I do it?
Thanks biggrin.gif

Hi,

What kind of cells?

-operon-

MAPCs. They are stem cells isolated from bone marrow.

You can do this with Trizol (800 µl / sample) and 10 µl glycogen as carrier. After that standard isoprop. precipitation, followed by ethanol wash step. This works fine for me, however the yields are (of course) not dramatic...

If you got money you can also buy a special micro RNA isolation kit/columns from Qiagen, etc. But they are really expensive!

Ok!! I´ll try it!
Thanks smile.gif
