Question on stripping westerns... - (Feb/10/2006 )

I was just wondering if the blocking proteins (ie casein) come off also when you strip a membrane. Does anyone know?

Shouldn't you re-block rather than re-blot??

after stripping you have to block again (usually 1hr room temp is enough); then you can procede to re-blot with the new primary antibody etc.
