RACE kit recommendation - (Feb/09/2006 )
Hi all,
Although I've been able to sequence the 3' end of my cDNA I've had no success with the 5' end using a kit from Invitrogen. I am tired of spinning my wheels and am looking for a different kit to try. The 2 products I'm leaning towards are Ambion's RLM-RACE and Seegene's Capfishing kit. Has anybody used either of these or could you recommend a kit that has worked well for you.

I have use Ambion's RLM-RACE, and found it work beter for 5'RACE fragment<0.5kb...

From what I have tried, I would go with Ambion.
I think it is the most reasonable offering from a time and expense standpoint ($380, 5 hours).
