staining - Amido black staining (Jan/24/2006 )

HI all,

Has any one tried amido black staining for identifying proteins on agarose gels? Most of the protocols I have got suggest Coomassie blue - which I don't have it right now. Any other staining suggestions which would enable me to get bands would be appriciated
