immunostaining of Drosophila S2 cells - (Jan/09/2006 )

i am planning to do immunostaining using drosophila S2 cells. based on my limited experience, the S2 cells are not very sticky to the plates. i am afraid that after all the washing, fixing steps of immunostaining, there will be very few cells left on the coverslip. Does anyone know techniqually how to handle the Drosophila S2 cells immunostaining? Thanks a lot for your help.

you can make all the immunostaining experiment in solution (FACS tubes, with some FBS or BSA)
after the last step, centrifuge the cells, resuspend in some mounting medium and put on slide
