Southern Blot Backgroundproblems - (Jan/06/2006 )

Hey all,
i did a southern blot followed by Dig-labelling and got a huge background. my supervisor told me to prolong the blocking time and to add 0,1% Tween 20.
Have you ever tried??

Even though the labelling method is different (I use biotinylation for my labelled oligos) most principles should be the same...I would try this link:
