RNA extraction after magnetic beads positive selection - Best kit / procedure??? (Jan/02/2006 )

Hallo RNA-lovers!
I would like to ask for your recommendations and sharing your experience:
What RNA isolation kit/procedure do you use after magnetic beads positive selection of the cell population? I am separating monocytes with Dynabeads and for RNA extraction using RNeasy Mini Kit but the yields are low and RNA doesn’t look well on the gel… ( So far I haven't approached to real-time PCR so I don't know if the RNA is good enough to be used for that.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Give NucleoSpin RNA II from Macherey-Nagel a shot if the RNA quality needs to be improved. Procedure is quick and reliable. Prices are pretty good too.
