Probe preparation for gel shift - (Dec/03/2001 )

Hi,

I am interested in finding out if anyone has had success using a PCR product as a probe for gel shift?Also, what are some of the other types of probes people have had success with?Thanks in advance

PCR products have worked for me, just don't forget to consider how youy are going to label the product ie include a restriction site in one primer. I've also used synthetic oligos that I annealed together and then labelled.
