Software available for Multiplex PCR primer designing - (Dec/02/2005 )

hai everyone

I am trying for the concurrent amplification of 5 different gene sequences, target is one but the position of gene is different. I want to check the compatibility of these primers for the Multiplex PCR assay. Is there any bioinformatic programme or software (freely available) for this purpose.

or, In other way is there any software available for specific Multiplex PCR primer designing.....?

you can also purchase licenses from eg. VisualOmp but it is quite expensive

Hi for multiplex analysis you should really use "fastPCR" as this has features specially designed for multiplex PCR analysis.
