what's the defference of normal serum and whole serum? - (Nov/15/2005 )

please....can anyone give me a hand?

Is it the one heat inactivated so that not having active complement proteins?

decomplemented serum is heat inactivated and do not contain the proteins of complement C1, C2, ... C9 any more
but i'm not sure that is the answer to the question.
