two color in immunoperoxidase staining - (Oct/13/2005 )

How to do two color in immunoperoxidas staing without masking the other color?

Thank you

-Minnie Mouse-

I don't understand what you mean exactly, but normally people do not do two color immunohistochemistry/immunoperoxidase on antigens that are coexpressed by the same cells in the same place b/c it is very difficult to tell what is overlapped and what isn't. People tend to use immunofluorescence for coexpression studies.

That being said, if you just want to use immunoperoxidase for examining overall expression patterns of two antigens I would suggest that you use two different chromagens which are fairly different in the color spectrum like DAB (brown) and TrueBlue (blue).

Would you please tell me how to do two color of immunofluorescence on tissue section?

Thank you.

Do you still need to know how to do 2 color IF on tissue sections?? If so let me know

Minnie, do us both a favor..Email me, and ask me exactly what you need to know, as well as your level of experience in the technique of immunochem/immunocytochemistry.

I have been doing it for a long time.
