purify Ab precipitate after neutralize to pH7 - (Oct/13/2005 )

Please answer my question if you know why it happens.

After purification of IgG hybridoma supernatant with Protein A column and neutralize with 1 M tris. Some precipitation forms in the fraction containing high concentration of Ab but not the lower concentration. Why?

Same thing happened when I purified certain Ab. Actually, in my case, it precipitated in fractions with both high and low concentrations. I still couldn't figure out why, but I guess it could be due certain characteristic of some Abs since my particular ab can form immune complex way better than others.

How can I reduce the amount of antibody precipitate when neutralize to pH7.0?
