Calcium Chloride use in gelatin zymography - (Oct/03/2005 )

I am beginning to prepare the solutions needed for gelatin zymography. Our lab only has calcium chloride dihydrate, can this chemical be used to prepare the calcium solution used during the 24hour incubation period??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't see why not ...just don't forget to check pH after you add the Calcium
