sequencing result for primer designing - sequnce hit primer or gene? (Jun/17/2009 )

how to know that our sequence hit the gene not the primer?im so confused....

I'm not sure what you're asking... Did you obtain some sequence data using a sequencing primer? If so, the sequence will begin (theoretically) at a point one base 3' to where the primer binds. You usually can't read the first 10-20 bases of the sequence, so the sequence proper would begin some short distance away from the 3' end of the primer.
