Problem with Kasumi-6 cell line - (Mar/29/2013 )

Hi all,

I am facing problems in growing Kasumi-6 cell line. I'm using RPMI with 20% FBS and then directly do the flask I'm adding 2ng/ml GMCSF. But they not growing I don’t know where is the problem.
Can anybody pls suggest any protocol for culture method for Kasumi-6 cells so that I can get healthy proliferating cells for my further work


Any suggestions will be highly apprciated.

Hi, besides the FBS and GMCSF, do you put the following components into the cultue medium: 2 mM L-glutamine, 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonate, 4.5 g/L glucose, 10 mM HEPES, and 1.0 mM sodium pyruvate?
One more thing, please maintain the cell density between 2 x 10⁵ and 1.5 x 10⁶ viable cells/mL.
