Compare ChIP to cell lysate - (Apr/15/2011 )

I am doing a chromatin immunoprecipitation and I would like to compare the amount of protein I purify with my antibody to the amount of the same protein left over in my cell lysate. I can't use a loading control because the ChIP will only have my protein of interest and nothing else to compare it to.
