my wandering mind - (Jul/01/2009 )

Pages: 1 2 Next

hi y'all

i was staring at the clouds earlier thinking to myself - and a question jumped into my brain

when i think to myself its in a softer, more fluffy version of my own voice

what voice does a person who only talks with sign language have?

can a deaf person hear a voice in their head?

what do blind people see when they dream?

do people in wheelchairs run in their dreams?

just a thought

dom

we're still waiting for the sun to come out
it never does when you want it to
it dares you to stop waiting
it doesn't care one way or the other
and here we are, still waiting .....

just a long wait......

-casandra-

...and still waiting and wondering... ;) ...what a sucky day...

I don't have the answers. But, I cannot swim but have seen myself swim in my dreams. I did not drown,

When I think, I usually find myself thinking in English though it is my second language. But, I wonder what language do I speak in my dream.

nabi - you think in your SECOND language - how bizzare - is it cos you currently use it more

I currently use a completely different language that I do not understand much for everyday. But, may be because all my school-life, when it came to thinking, reasoning, and learning, I have been using my second language.

@ cass : not that one. . the other pills.

oh, here's another random thought (while trying to fall asleep)....why suffer making the choice? Why not just take both the red and blue pills..what would happen? a dual world interpretation (as opposed to MWI :)) coloured purple...a permanent gate where I can move back and forth between the matrix and my reality/truth...the mind in one and the physical body in the other...perhaps it's just better to take the sleeping pill :( ...

BB: time to take swimming lessons ;)

dom: it's interesting when you said "think to myself" instead of "talk to myself", cos then you don't need voices/sounds for that...

hi dom, do you actually or literally hear voices or are you just having the usual garden-variety internal monologue.....altho...that fluffy voice is a bit problematic esp if it has lost that clipped Brit tone.....perhaps we shld ask a therapist who can give us a better insight.....
