32 (out) of 33 samples... - (Dec/27/2012 )

Hi!

Can someone tell me which is the correct form to explain that I have 33 samples and 32 of them are positive?:

- 32 of 33 samples were positive.
- 32 out of 33 samples were positive.

This is something that I always discuss with my PI

Thank you!!

Thanks! (I was right!)

Actually, either can be used, though it would be more common for the first one to have the form "32 of the 33 samples were positive".
