Database Use Question - Software (Jan/28/2010 )

I was wondering what your lab is using for a database system. If other, would you mind adding a comment specifying what it is?

we use mssql.

I use MySQL.

I use MySQL/Postgre/Oracle/Sqlite. Technically, Excel isn't a database.

For me, i use access... i don't know how to use mssql... any tutorial?

Sorry Eve, didn't notice your message.
I use it for my bacterial cultures: each characteristics (antimicrobial sensitivity, growth rate), label on tubes, subculture date, storage place(in which box i put my glycerol stock in)......
