CD/ DVD cover - (Jan/28/2010 )

hi guys

do u know how to form a cover for CD/DVDs on your own way??

Melt cholate, dip the cover completly in and cool it by air. :D

do you want to make a cover picture for the cd box (crystal case) or print on the cd?

for the cd case, you just print out your picture to the size required (i don't remember, offhand) and fold it then slide it into the case. here is shareware (for the mac) to print cd/dvd labels: cd/dvd labelmaker and here is shareware (for windows): disketch cd label software.

for printing on the cd, there are programs that give you the ability (if you have a printer that can print on a cd/dvd, they usually come with software).

but the chocolate dipping is easier....altho it's better to do stencil design instead of completely immersing it in the molten chocolate....:D...

for the resident tech idi.... of course  ....but you can also paint your own stuff on covers...though the ready-made track lists are nice. BTW many programs such as nero, CDBurnerXP or winoncd have a build-in editor for such stuff...

I actually didn't understand strawberry's question....print design (like psychedelic stuff :P) on the CD itself or the just the cover (sleeve) of the CD?
