Cellular Encapsulation in 3D Hydrogels for Tissue Engineering

This video protocol demonstrates a simple and powerful method to encapsulate cells within hydrogel scaffolds in a cytocompatible manner. Such techniques are especially important since terminally differentiated and stem cells can exhibit markedly different behavior in 2D versus 3D microenvironments.
