    I have great difficulty to dissolve the protein pellet after extraction by Trizol.
    Can the increasing of the SDS concentration help?

    On step 20, it is very difficult to resuspend the pellet. I have tried to heat or sonicate the pellet, neither one helps very much, there still is a big, white, hard pellet in the bottom of the tube. Judging by western blot and bradford protein assay, the recovery of protein is variable.
