ES and MEF cell - (Sep/05/2005 )

Hi,
Could anybody explain the difference between ES cell and MEF cell? Which one is easier to work with? (culture condition and DNA transfection?)
Thanks!!

ES cells are undifferentiated stemcells.
MEF's are Mouse Embryo Fibroblasts.
The choise which cells to use, depends on your research question, not on how easy it is to work with them.
So what is your research question?
