I do my experiment by follow this method
http://www.mdanderson.org/departments/meth...hod=displayFull

I would like to ask everybody.
1. How long did you treat dna with bisulfit?
2. what is the minimum and maximum time in bisulfite treatment?
3. glycogen is necessary or not?

Thanks for you help.

Hi,

i treat my DNA overnight for 12-16 hours. there are bisulfite modification kits that have minimum conversion times of four hours which means you can effectively complete the conversion in one day (methyleasy).

Glycogen is not a necessary but helps increase the yield of DNA when precipitating, I usually add it in to make sure as it doesn't hurt downstream reactions anyeays.
