Question on peptide bond formation - (Jul/04/2005 )

the formation of peptide bond is an endergonic reaction ,how can such an endergonic reaction take place in a living cell smoothly

If you just look at a half, you will see the reaction can't happen because delta G(1)is positive. But the total delta G is negative and reaction still happen because the delta G(2) of phosphorylation reaction is more negative than delta G(1).
