question - anti Ha western blotting (May/02/2005 )

Hi,
Could anyone tell me what the about 100 KD band is showed on anti-Ha western blotting? The antibody is from Roche, 12ca5.

Hi Twinpens,

Sorry haven't seen no 100kDa band on HA-blots, although I haven't used the Roche antibody, I get clean blots with Santa Cruz antibody.

Do you get the band even on lysates that don't express your HA-protein ie your mock transfected. Could be some degradation/aggregation of your protein.
