virus vector for transfection - (Mar/03/2005 )

We're looking to transiently transfect gastric epithelial cells with a certain gene but have obtained low efficiency with the promega tfx system. We're now looking for a virus vector system that might offer better efficiency. Can anyone recomend a good (fast, easy, cheap) system?
