Hippocampal cultures-cell clusters - (Feb/28/2005 )

We plate the neurons and after 2-3 hours they look fine, they are widespread in the coverslips. After 3-4 days they migrate and form clusters among them. Does anyone know how to prevent clustering of hippocampal cells?

We used poly-L-Lysine as substrate.
