My genomic DNA extractions has unusall bands-help!!!!& - help!!!! (Nov/23/2004 )

dear friends
i extract genomic DNA from sugarcane, but always get two bands in addition to the genomic DNA, these two appear always the same no change in band size, and at considerably high concentration (band size is about 700-800bp). I have changed the solutions etc. and tired with other samples. No change.
Any body could help me!!!!!!!!

Sounds like 23s and 18s rRNA Bands. Try to treat your extracts with RNAse and check them again.
