New Year's eve - What did you do? (Dec/31/2008 )

went to a friend's house and had a warm dinner with his family then went to a shrine in the mid-night. Offered prayers, got little osake and oranges. . . came back just now and realised I forgot to send this month's journal list. So am in department making it .

We had a nice (and huge) family party where I had to play what we call "retro music" for 3 hours.

Now I have sore fingers, and a lot a great memories!

In front of TV, by the fireplace. Had drinks and snacks.

Upstairs there were many students.. dancing. Didn't want to make a scene, although cousin of my friend was in very much mood to. You see, she comes from a midwestern place where there are not too many apartments with hardwood floor.

Having fun, dancing and eating stuff in my apartment Nobody broke anything, not even one spilled drink, and we finished dancing at 3 AM! (well yeah, in socks, because I don't have real dancing floor ) My friend brought a mahjong set and we learned the rules, and I won three times in a row. That is some New Year!
