expression level comparison - a database to find gene expressi (Nov/25/2008 )

I need learn how about the expression patterns of some genes among tissues and developmental stages. I checked UCSC gene sorter, but the color coding didnot help while comparing genes, is there something more, say, numerical? I need this for two reasons, to select genes, defects on which may cause a particular phenotype, and to select suitable reference genes for qRT-PCRwith similar expression to my target genes. will appreciate any help.

I am not sure of a single database site to advice, so look up some of these gene expression databases and see if you find something useful.

You may want to narrow your search with regards to your gene, organism or organ etc.

you can find some huge gene expression databases for arabidopsis over the internet. however, i don't know if that's what you're after.
