Chemical antifungal methods - (Nov/17/2008 )

Does anyone know what antifungal (actually anti-mold) chemicals or substances can be added into rubber to prevent mold growth?

So, are you making rubber? Or do you have some rubber (tubing perhaps?) that has mold growing in it? We use Amphoteracin B in our culture media and put onto kim-wipes to spot clean mold off of things. We use some antifungal preparation in our water baths to keep them fungus free- you can find algae-off and other products in a catalog from VWR etc.
