Hello,

what is the effect of withdrawing FBS from cultured cells before carrying out the assays?
I heard from synchronizing cell cycle, but what is the reason for doing that?

Yes, the effect of reducing % of FBS is to synchronize cells to G0. Cells behave different depending on cell cycle phase they are, so by this way, you see more effects since they all behave in the same way.
