I am in the process of preparing a postdoctoral fellowship application. Could anyone provide me with an example of a successful fellowship application please?

they are predominantly interested in your skills of methods, followed by your scientific output; stress each and add the common bla bla (highly motivated, team player, flexible etc)

Hi! I don't know what kind of fellowship this is (ie, if its payed by some government agency, etc), but one good tip I received for my PhD app was to show a trade of success. And also to show that you managed to do the things that you proposed to do.

So, if you have space, you might be able to say, "the aim of my phd projetc was to do this, and I managed to do this, as you can see by...".

Sell yourself, but offer facts that support the compliments u are giving to yourself. wink.gif

Another thing they advised me was to show you know exactly what you want out of your career, step by step. So something like, "in my phd I learned .. and ..., and since I want to specialise in the area... this pos-doc will give me the skills .. and .. to achieve it" (and of course, relate it to the project you are applying to.

Hope it helps, I don't have much experience, but I liked those advices.
