The secret is don't move. Let the viruses handle the bugs. When the virus resistant bugs appear, aim only for them and quickly get big enough to eat them.
The only troublesome level was the one where one of the initial viruses resistant bugs was big enough to eat you. Get big quick to survive and the paying field is the same. Luckily the virus resistant bugs are not naturally faster than you.
Also once you are infected, you can still win provided that you eat all the bugs before the lysogeny period end and you... umm lyse.

I already managed it to the highest level
Really nice game, should be longer.
