Water solubility of xylazine - (Oct/13/2004 )

HI,

I'm trying to make a 1 % solution of Xylazine. Unfortunately, after letting it stir over night, there is still plenty of "white snow" in my bottle.

I admit that I did add some NaCl to make a 0,9 % physiologic solution.

What did go wrong?

I presume you mean a 1% weight per volume solution... form a quick web search: the solubility of xylazine is 373 mg/L and it appears you are trying to dissolve 10g... hence the white powder still in the bottle.
