Test kit for vitamin B12 - (Sep/25/2008 )

I am trying to determine the concentration of vitamin B12 in bacterial media. I was wondering if anybody know a company that produces a kit that I can use for that purpose.
Most kits I found are designed for food.

You can send out your sample to a hospital or medical reference lab. Many of them should be running vit b 12 folate tests for anemia.

They will be using automated instrument. It may be more cost effective for you to send out the test rather than try to find a manual test for your lab.

It is normally involved in the metabolism of every cell of the body, especially affecting DNA synthesis and regulation, but also fatty acid synthesis and energy production.
