Trypsin concentration and preparation - How to dissolve Trypsin powder? (Aug/12/2008 )

I have a trypsin powder from Sigma T8802-50mg........but I don't know what solution should be used to dissolve and with what percentage?

Is this for TC? I think ours is 0.02% trypsin-EDTA in PBS with phenol red (bought premade) but don't quote me on that.

yes, for tissue culture. so 0.02% means 0.02 g in 100 ml?

I have 50mg meaning I'd need 250ml of PBS !....must be it. thanks.
