Scientist with aviophobia - (Aug/01/2008 )

Hi

I would like to know whether is it possible for a scientist to succeed in the academic research field if he or she has aviophobia (phobia of flying). Is it like to give a very bad impression to your boss telling him that you fear to fly and cannot attend oversea events?

Any case you have heard of?

Thx in advance.

A good psychologist/psychotherapist and some (or several) hours of therapy and seminars may help. There are some specialising in this topic.
