Thesis writing - Materials and Methods (Jul/28/2008 )

Just a quick and probably silly question. Should you put the concentration and source of basic reagents in the Materials and Methods of you thesis?

source of basic reagents- yes;

concentration- generally no, unless you received something in solution, like 1 M NH3 in ethanol, 4 N HCl in ethanol, 95% H2SO4, etc.

in the materials section you are correct. in the methods section you should put concentrations except for the components that you change in your experiments. they are shown in the results section.
