Free online Books anywhere? - Where can I find free Biology text books? (Jul/15/2008 )

Pages: 1 2 Next

hello,

I needed a few biology text books to prepare for a test.

I cannot afford to buy all of them.

Is there any webbased tool where I can find the genetics book (Griffiths)?

And Molecular Biology book (Watson)?

Or any other web resource for free biology book?

thanks,
Modest Mouse

Yes doc_t I know about it. But I thought it is only for Music and Movies.

Can one also download BOOKS from it??
If so, first these books need to be in a PdF format on some one's computer-is that right?

Thanks for all the information you are giving,
MM

For (very) old books: http://www.biolib.de/

Although most are in German, you can find scans of the works of Darwin, Linne, Haeckel etc; but also some newer ones!
