Sequencing result - (Jul/10/2008 )

Hi all,
I am new to Molecular biology.
I have isolated bacteria and wanted to identify the bacteria based on 16Sr DNA sequence. I had used two types of universal primers to PCR amplify the 16SrDNA and done the cloning. With each primers the sequence results are completely different. Is this possible? your help will be highly appreciated

Use Blast (pubmed) and check what you really sequence.

The best way to know which one is right is to
compare ur sequence to the genome data base.
But if you use the primers from your PCR it means
during ur the sequencing one primer is reading from
the 5'---->3' and the other one from 3'--->5'.
check the interception of these sequences to see if they
match or not.
