Random-primed DNA labelling - (Jul/04/2008 )

Can anyone help? If I’m priming genomic DNA with random hexamers and using Klenow in the labelling reaction with Cy3/Cy5 dyes then how do you work out how long your synthesized probes will be?
This is for use on microarrays and I use 3µg of random hexamers in the reaction with 20ug DNA and 5mM each dNTP in the labelling step with 4.5U Klenow fragment in buffer with the dyes.
So how do you work out the final length of your synthesized probes?
Thanks
