Culture media with human serum gives false positive - (Jun/27/2008 )

Hi! I'm using a MIP-4 ELISA to detect the protein in cell culture supernatant, but I have the problem that my wells with cell culture media alone give me a high positive reading . My medium contains human serum and the company (Biosource) told me the problem was probably the serum. Is there anything I can do to still be able to read my samples??

Dilute the samples the serum interferant may dilute out more quickly then the corresponding antigen.
